Position Summary

As an Intern in the Business Continuity Section of the Enterprise Risk Management Division, you will, under close supervision, perform functional duties for the assigned area, including:

  • Conduct research and analysis of internal or external information to support the Business Continuity Management Program
  • Work on small projects to support business continuity, disaster recovery, and business recovery plans 
  • Assist in the development of tabletop exercises for business continuity, disaster recovery, and business recovery plans
  • Gain an understanding of the Incident Command System, National Incident Management System, and business continuity principles. 
  • Perform special assignments as needed
  • Other preferred qualifications:  Students majoring in Intelligence Studies or Risk Management are preferred, as well as those with strong writing and analytical skills.
  • This position is for full-time summer with the potential of part-time hours during the school year.

  • Performs various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives.
  • Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required.
  • Analyzes data and reports findings.
  • Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files.
  • Provides clerical and administrative support as needed.

    High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.
