Position Summary

Drives transformational change that may involve complex new business or technical processes, development and introduction of new vendor partners or providers, or introduction of new technology. Implement changes that will impact a significant number of stakeholders across the organization and will present challenges in complexity or deadlines. May perform duties in one or more of the following disciplines: Business, Data, Business Intelligence, Security, Quality, User Experience, &/or Production Control.

 

This position is being reposted to support IT Operations in the Quality Coaching role.

This role is for an IT Quality Coach within the Quality Management Office

Key responsibilities include:
•Works with leadership and individual contributors (particularly engineers, architects, PMs, team leads, and app owners) to accelerate delivery under quality controls, ensure adoption of consistent end-to-end quality management practices, and measurably increase quality while reducing cost of quality.
•Advises, mentors teams and supports team leads and management regarding quality principles, techniques, and practices/disciplines across the SDLC including post production support.
•Monitors and ensures consistent quality management practices and standards as part of project and support teams
•Works with the Portfolio Leadership in coordination with the respective service centers, to identify opportunities and help resolve gaps relative to end to end Testing strategy. (Example: test automation recommendation, performance test, test environments/tools, test data management)
•Works with the QMO Practice team to design the Quality initiatives defined within the QMO Roadmap
•Leads or assists in mitigating technical and business issues and problems affecting quality

Preferred skills, abilities and experience:
•Maintains and shares strong proficiency in contemporary and emerging quality management standards, practices, patterns, frameworks, tools, controls, metrics, and training as compared to the industry
•Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills
•Excellent change management skills; experience using an industry standard change management model

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyzes the highest level and most complex business, technical process, system and/or technical problems.Â
  • Conducts research, generates comparisons, draws conclusions, makes recommendations and validates solutions to effect transformational change. Â
  • Ensures actions are aligned to enterprise strategies; provides insight to assist in business or technical direction.
  • May serve as a discipline lead and participate in steering committees.
  • Collaborates across multiple teams to drive analysis management processes (i.e. business, quality, experience, system). May provide practice, discipline and technical guidance; develops and maintains relationships with other practice owners and discipline leads in order to ensure consistency.
  • Participates in the execution and implementation of solutions.
  • Effectively communicates with customers, team members or other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

    Minimum Educational Requirements and Experience Equivalencies: •  Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Business or related field, plus five years' related experience, or; Associate's degree in a technical field, plus seven years' related experience, or; High School Diploma plus nine years' related experience?
