Position Summary

As an Intern for the Illinois Branch Office, you will, under close supervision, perform functional duties for the assigned division(s) including but not limited to:

  • Assisting claims adjusters in scoping and evaluating damages on auto and property claims
  • Assisting claims and sales in securing, creating and reporting data relative to claim files and agency initiatives
  • Participate on special projects and assignments for the claims and sales areas
  • Students majoring in Risk Management, Insurance or other related degrees strongly preferred
  • There are two positions available.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives.
  • Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required.
  • Analyzes data and reports findings.
  • Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files.
  • Provides clerical and administrative support as needed.

    High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.
