Position Summary

Administers systems applications within the division. Functions as subject matter expert for all related system implementation and maintenance initiatives.

 

This position's primary focus will be SharePoint support for business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Works with Information Technology (IT) to implement, maintain and support assigned applications. Completes project plans, defines project scope, updates and maintains project websites, and/or participates in systems integration activities as required.

 

Evaluates and resolves end user computing problems. Works in conjunction with IT to document and resolve production problems. Refers complex problems to Help Desk or more experienced staff as required.

 

Works with Business Consulting to develop business requirements and Service Requests for system changes.

 

Performs user acceptance testing related to system changes or enhancements as required. Communicates and trains users regarding routine system updates or procedural changes.

 

Oversees and monitors system-related projects, including upgrades, enhancements and process improvement activities, and prepares related reports for management as required.

 

Implements, monitors and maintains database security, including creating and maintaining users, roles and privileges for the database. Monitors, maintains and implements user access as necessary.

 

Coordinates technical and end user training with appropriate internal departments.

 

Prepares and/or coordinates the preparation of end user reports or assists end users with the development of reports using applicable software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, computer science or information technology required; or

 

Associate's degree in business or information technology and two years of experience in systems administration required; or

 

High school diploma and four years of experience in systems administration required.

 

Working knowledge of spreadsheet and database software required. Working knowledge of IT policies and practices preferred. Completion of AIT 131 and AIT 132, or equivalent, preferred.
