Erie Insurance is committed to helping you learn and grow with a challenging internship position that will offer you relevant and real-world business experience. We are currently seeking many high-potential applicants for our upcoming summer internship program as Data Interns!  

 

Who should apply?
 

  • Applications are accepted from full-time college students currently attending an accredited college or university to pursue a four-year degree or to complete a master's degree program full-time
  • A four-year degree student should be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required to be considered for an internship
  • Candidates pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Data & Analytics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Programming, MIS or related fields of study highly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

Erie Insurance offers interns the opportunity to gain experience in several different areas in our organization focused on Data and Analytics

  • Preparation: Assist with the process of cleansing and preparing data prior to reporting and analytics.
  • Reporting:  Assist with the creation of ad-hoc and recurring reports using appropriate programming languages, business intelligence tools and software tools.
  • Analytics: Assist in conducting detailed analysis related to ERIE’s products and services using appropriate programming languages

Qualifications

High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.
