Opportunity to join our Future Focus Internship Program as an Enterprise Data Intern

 

Erie Insurance is committed to helping you learn and grow with a challenging internship position that will offer you relevant and real-world business experience. We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in being considered for our upcoming summer internship program as potential Enterprise Data Interns!  

 

Who should apply?

 

  • Applications are accepted from college students currently enrolled at an accredited college or university to pursue a four-year degree or to complete a master's degree program full-time
  • A four-year degree student should be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year (graduating in spring 2026 thru spring 2028)
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required to be considered for this internship

 

About the Internship: The internship includes orientation to the company and the insurance industry through:

Position Summary

Under close supervision, performs functional duties for assigned division. Performs special projects as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Erie Insurance offers interns the opportunity to gain experience in several different areas in our organization focused on Data and Analytics

  • Preparation: Assist with the process of cleansing and preparing data prior to reporting and analytics.
  • Reporting:  Assist with the creation of ad-hoc and recurring reports using appropriate programming languages, business intelligence tools and software tools.
  • Analytics: Assist in conducting detailed analysis related to ERIE’s products and services using appropriate programming languages

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required.


Additional Experience 

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.
