Position Summary
Under close supervision processes documentation. May be responsible for one or more of the following methods: correspondence (transcribed dictation) or imaging.
Duties and Responsibilities
Processes documents utilizing required method.
Updates and maintains statistical database of completed jobs to track operator/department activity.
Specific duties by discipline:
Correspondence:
Transcribes dictated correspondence as well as documents and projects from other media for Word Processing users, according to standards and procedures.
Types and proofreads documents.
Reviews final copies for accuracy, and queues to remote printers.
Updates and maintains statistical database as needed to track operator/department activity.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of various word processing and other software.

Competencies
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to work as a remote Employee after training period. Correspondence: Proven ability to type 55 wpm required. Proficient in computer technology required, including troubleshooting systems. Thorough knowledge of current version of Microsoft Office required. Working knowledge of spreadsheet and/or graphics software preferred.
