Position Summary

Coordinates transitions to new vendors, new business or technical processes, new technology or significant changes to current technology. Implements changes that will affect business or technical processes with a moderate to high impact for stakeholders and will present challenges in complexity or deadlines. May perform duties in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Data Business Intelligence Security Quality User Experience Production Control

 

What You'll Do:
This opportunity is for an IT Analyst or Sr IT Analyst and will work on the following:

  • Works with leadership and individual contributors to accelerate delivery under quality controls, ensure adoption of consistent end-to-end quality management practices, and measurably increase quality while reducing cost of quality.
  • Advises, mentors teams and supports team leads and management regarding quality principles, techniques across the IT Lifecycle Processes and Practices, including post production support
  • Monitors and ensures consistent quality management practices and standards as part of project and support teams
  • Leads and/or assists in mitigating technical issues, business issues and problems affecting quality
  • Mentor and Coach IT Analyst within the IT Methodologies, Quality and Governance Team
  • Coordinates and captures updates and changes to the end-to-end IT Lifecycle
  • Coordinates and captures updates and changes to the Project Quality Review process
  • Aligns to enterprise initiatives such as D25's Agile Ways of Working and Technology Agility, facilitating IT Lifecycle updates with job family owners and documenting their convergence


Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • In depth knowledge of and experience utilizing the IT Lifecycle
  • ERIE application/system knowledge
  • Ability to simplify complexity

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyzes business or technical processes with a moderate to high impact for stakeholders.
  • Conducts research, generates comparisons, draws conclusions, makes recommendations and validates solutions to effect transitional changes.
  • Ensures actions are in alignment with enterprise strategies. 
  • Collaborates across multiple teams to drive analysis management processes (i.e. business, quality, experience, system).
  • Utilizes technical quidance received from leaders and higher-level peers to address complex problems and projects. 
  • Effectively communicates with customers, team members or other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Participates in the execution and implementation of solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Business or related field, plus two years' related experience.
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, plus four years' related experience.
  • High school diploma plus six years' related experience.
