Position Summary

Opportunity to join our Future Focus Internship Program

Erie Insurance is committed to helping you learn and grow with a challenging internship position that will offer you relevant and real world business experience. We are currently hiring high-potential candidates to join our program, with full-time positions this summer and part-time positions during the school year in select departments.  Our recent graduates reported that the program successfully laid a strong foundation for their future success.   ERIE’s internships are paid, competitive and available in many disciplines. Internship positions may be offered at our corporate headquarters in Erie, Pa., in the following departments: Actuarial, Accounting/Finance, Data, Human Resources, Information Technology, Internal Audit, Investment, Marketing, and Underwriting.  Internships in Claims may be offered in our field branch offices.

Who should apply?

  • Applications are accepted from full-time college students currently attending an accredited college or university to pursue a four-year degree or to complete a master's degree program full-time
  • A four-year degree student should be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required to be considered for an internship

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives.
  • Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required.
  • Analyzes data and reports findings.
  • Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files.
  • Provides clerical and administrative support as needed.

    High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.
