Position Summary

Drives transformational change that may involve complex new business or technical processes, development and introduction of new vendor partners or providers, or introduction of new technology. Implement changes that will impact a significant number of stakeholders across the organization and will present challenges in complexity or deadlines. We’re looking for a talented and motivated business analyst to join our team. ERIE’s Claims technology department is currently working on an innovative, exciting claims application (Guidewire).  Supporting the business processes within this system is vital to Claims operations. ERIE IT is an organization built on quality, teamwork and going the extra mile. As a business analyst in ERIE’s Claims technology department, you will help make it easier for our employees to utilize ERIE Claim Center to help our customers in their darkest hours. This position is focused project analysis work delivering continuous improvement to the claims business.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyzes the highest level and most complex business, technical process, system and/or technical problems.Â
  • Conducts research, generates comparisons, draws conclusions, makes recommendations and validates solutions to effect transformational change. Â
  • Ensures actions are aligned to enterprise strategies; provides insight to assist in business or technical direction.
  • May serve as a discipline lead and participate in steering committees.
  • Collaborates across multiple teams to drive analysis management processes (i.e. business, quality, experience, system). May provide practice, discipline and technical guidance; develops and maintains relationships with other practice owners and discipline leads in order to ensure consistency.

    Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Business or related field, plus five years' related experience, or;

     

    Associate's degree in a technical field, plus seven years' related experience, or;

     

    High School Diploma plus nine years' related experience
