Position Summary

Develops and validates the IT architecture against requirements of the business. Sets direction and builds consensus around the IT strategy and determines the best path to achieve it. Empowers the organization to efficiently make high-quality technology and process decisions that enable our business vision. May perform duties in one or more of the following disciplines: Solution, Domain, &/or Enterprise.


This role will focus on the Application Architecture Domain.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drives direction, clarifies vision and defines strategy to enable enterprise level objectives.
  • Leads initiatives that involve significant change to capabilities, architecture or technologies.
  • Partners with account team, executive and senior business leaders on strategy, objectives and initiative definition.
  • Partners with engineering to provide actionable direction that aligns with business objectives; ensures alignment with enterprise level initiatives.
  • Impacts, applies and changes assigned portfolio capabilities and enterprise capabilities; drives outcomes that advance capabilities at both the portfolio and enterprise level.
  • Provides thought leadership that drives change to identify and enable strategic outcomes.
  • Leads the change to architecture framework maturity.
  • Coaches and provides guidance to other architects and IT leaders.

    Minimum Educational Requirements and Experience Equivalencies:

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Business or related field, plus five years' related experience, or; Associate's degree in a technical field, plus seven years' related experience, or; High School Diploma plus nine years' related experience.
