Position Summary
Supports critical enterprise strategic initiatives of high complexity by developing and executing change management plans that enable projects to realize business results more quickly. Creates and implements key change management deliverables that maximize user adoption and minimizes resistance. Assists projects of high complexity on identifying process improvements.
- This Change Specialist will be assigned to the Corporate Enablement (CE) portfolio providing change management coaching and guidance to portfolio leadership and change leads. Familiarity with CE structure and key initiatives is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as a business liaison responsible for change management plans for enterprise programs/projects of high complexity.
- Partners with program/project sponsors in defining program/project impacts, change management strategy and scope, and measures for change management success in the earliest phases of project planning.
- Creates and implements fully integrated cross-functional change management plans that identify the timing and sequencing of all targeted tactics, the impacted audience, and measures that will be used to evaluate success.
- Designs and delivers stakeholder analysis, and communications plan to facilitate the execution of change initiatives. Spearheads and maintains the design, development and implementation of robust change management communication and training plans aimed at supporting audiences along the change continuum from initial awareness through commitment.
- Leads large, highly complex projects focused on determining how new technologies and innovations can support reengineering business processes and lead to more sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Creates and manages message platforms to effectively communicate ideas to Employees, Agents and Customers.
- Defines and measures success metrics and monitors change progress. Identifies, analyzes and prepares risk mitigation tactics.
- Collaborates with the corporate program management office (PMO) to ensure that synergy and consistency exists to drive enterprise strategic initiative success.
- Serves as the primary resource for change management expertise for assigned key strategic initiatives of the organization.
- Matures the change management discipline across the enterprise using Prosci methodology.
- Assists in training and development of less experienced staff, including those new to role.Serves as a resource to other change management specialist providing guidance and feedback as required.
- Assists with larger projects at the highest complexity.

Qualifications
Minimum Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years' related experience, required.
- Associate degree and two additional years of related experience required; or
- High school diploma and four additional years of related experience required.
Additional Experience
- Five years of experience in change management, process improvement, or related experience, required.
- In-depth knowledge of change management principles and methodologies required.
- In-depth knowledge of strategic planning, organizational design, and strategic communication required.
- Familiarity with ERIE’s business processes and practices preferred.
Designations and/or Licenses
- Certifications in change management methodologies such as Prosci or Certified Change Mgmt Professional (CCMP) preferred.
