Position Summary

Performs administration of networks, systems and databases which affect critical enterprise platforms that cross the organization and that impact a significant number of stakeholders. May develop complex, enterprise wide solutions and/or introduce new vendor relationships and/or new technology. May perform duties in one or more of the following disciplines: Database System Network Middleware

 

What You'll Do:
This opportunity is for a Sr. IT Administrator that will focus on maintaining and optimizing our phone and contact center platforms.  Duties include training and onboarding employees and peers, work closely with vendors to ensure timely and effective support, attend and participate in contact center buildouts and technology decisions.

 

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Knowledge of telecom technologies, such as VoIP, PBX, analog, digital, and fiber optics.
  • Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting telecom systems.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, UDP, and FTP.
  • Experience with telephony systems, such as Cisco Call Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs administration of networks, systems and databases including investigation and diagnostics of problems that are deep in multiple technologies and/or platforms and seeks root cause analysis in related domains. Completes projects/outcomes of high complexity.
  • Installs new network server hardware and other devices. Performs complex upgrades, troubleshoots and fixes of network hardware and software issues.
  • Implements, maintains, modifies and supports assigned applications. Works in conjunction with appropriate IT staff to complete project plans, define project scope and participates in systems integration activities.
  • Ensures maintenance of system, tracks systems performance regularly and identifies performance issues and tuning opportunities; recommends improvements where applicable.
  • Effectively communicates with customers, team members or other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Participates as a team member and contributes to team projects. Mentors less senior staff members and provides peer review and technical oversight.
  • Assists in setting technical direction and strategy; provides insight to help inform leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Business or related field, plus five years' related experience, or;
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, plus seven years' related experience, or;
  • High School Diploma plus nine years' related experience
