Position Summary
This position will have the additional scope and responsibilities including:
- Prepares financial models, tracks investments, prepares financial analysis and attends meetings related to ERIE’s financial investments in the community.
- Will be lead financial analyst related to community investments as outlined below and will also perform duties in strategic and operational, treasury accounting and reporting, research and analytics and strategic project management.
- Treasury accounting and reporting.
Applies an understanding to assist with or manage core aspects of the Treasury Department’s financial and operational activities. Independently or through collaboration with other areas, establishes new or enhances existing business processes. May perform duties in one or more of the following disciplines: strategic and operational, capital management, cash management, middle office, research and analytics, treasury system administration, and/or, strategic project management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads core aspects of treasury processes, performs analysis, provides recommendations and provides insight to Treasury leaders, higher level peers and/or business partners.
- Conducts research, generates comparisons, draws conclusions, makes recommendations and validates solutions in support of Treasury objectives.
- Serves as subject matter expert for existing systems/platforms.
- Collaborates across multiple teams on identifying and recommending solutions to improve business processes.
- Leads system upgrades, process enhancements and the execution and implementation of solutions.
- Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintains process manuals and business continuity plans.
- Mentors and trains others on area of expertise.
- Provides backup for daily treasury activities when necessary.
- Completes special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field and five years’ experience in corporate finance, treasury or related financial experience, required; or
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field and seven years’ experience in corporate finance, treasury or related financial experience, required; or
- High school diploma or GED and nine years’ experience corporate finance, treasury or related financial experience, required.
Additional Experience
- Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
Designations and/or Licenses
- Certified Treasury Professional designation and/or CPA preferred.
