Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, assists in training and directing section Employees and the Contract Cleaning supervisors. Performs daily touring inspections to maintain the cleanliness of assigned buildings.

 

  • This job is for 2nd Shift, 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists the section supervisor in training, directing and assisting section Employees, including maintaining daily inspection records and actions taken to correct measures.
  • Provides feedback for Employee coaching & performance assessments.
  • Assists the section Employees with completing myTime, as necessary and maintains attendance records for the unit.
  • Performs inspection tours of assigned buildings and prepares reports for the section supervisor on a weekly basis.
  • Assists the Section Supervisor in ordering janitorial supplies and in maintaining inventory of materials and supplies related to assigned work.
  • Assists the section supervisor in training Employees and maintaining all Hazardous Communication to meet all OSHA rules and comply with appropriate safety measures.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required. 


Additional Experience

  • Three years previous experience in cleaning services for commercial  office buildings, or equivalent, required. 
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Incumbent is required to work a flexible schedule, designated holidays and skeleton crew days.
