Position Summary

Under moderate supervision obtains the necessary information to create subrogation recovery opportunities, coordinate the development of evidence to support subrogation recoveries, and pursue these recoveries in accordance with legal statutes, and policy provisions for cases of clear liability, uninsured motorist and or restitution claims. 
 

  • Successful candidate will work from our Westport Office, Millcreek PA. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations to determine a claim's subrogation potential and pursue an appropriate recovery. Refers questionable claims for further investigation.
  • Prepares necessary documentation in accordance with state filing requirements and maintains an active diary to ensure all claims are actively pursued.
  • Identify, investigate, and gathers proper information in support of recovery opportunities. Negotiate settlements with responsible parties.
  • Prepare materials and documentation on unsettled claims to communicate to all relevant parties.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

Additional Experience 

  • One year claim handling or customer service experience preferred.
  • Travel for training and business required. 

 

Designations and/or Licenses 

  • Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP) designation or insurance course work or designations preferred. 
  • Obtain license as required by the state.
