Position Summary

Provides financial leadership in the development of improved business processes and financial systems related to ERIE's most complex treasury initiatives. Conducts complex analyses and develops recommendations. Presents financial analysis and findings to executives as well as senior leaders in support of ERIE’s most complex treasury initiatives.

 

This role will lead complex initiatives and process improvements involving all Treasury areas, including high collaboration with other areas in the organization to establish new or improve existing processes

Duties and Responsibilities

In conjunction with treasury leadership, identifies opportunities to improve business processes.  Recommends effective, efficient solutions that increase ease of doing business. Identifies cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.

 

Leads and supports treasury initiative development, including socializing ideas to key stakeholders, such as senior and executive leadership.

 

Champions, consults, communicates and monitors progress towards strategic planning goals and decisions made by management.

 

Leads the execution of treasury initiatives by providing business and technical subject matter expertise to project teams and treasury leadership. Ensures issue resolution and communicates resolutions to the work teams, treasury leadership, executives and others as required.

 

Assists in implementing critical change management initiatives on behalf of treasury management.

 

Anticipates problems and develops mitigations as needed.

 

Acts as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff, including those new to role.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Education Equivalents:

 

Bachelor's degree business, finance, accounting, or related field and seven years' experience within the corporate finance industry, in the areas of accounts payable, premium collection, sourcing, treasury or related financial experience required; or 

 

Associate's degree business, finance, accounting, or related field and nine years' experience within the corporate finance industry, in the areas of accounts payable, premium collection, sourcing, treasury or related financial experience required; or 

 

High school diploma or GED and eleven years' experience within the corporate finance industry, in the areas of accounts payable, premium collection, sourcing, treasury or related financial experience required.

 

Cross-functional leadership experience required. Strong background in automated information systems, financial reporting requirements, and modeling tools preferred. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software required. Experience leading and/or participating in financial systems implementations or systems upgrades preferred. Treasury and/or Accounts Payable, Receivables, preferred.
